The ATTRACT Academy is an educational initiative designed to foster entrepreneurship among Europe’s young talent. Launched as part of the ATTRACT project, it brings together students from different disciplines, including physics, design, and finance to collaborate on real-world applications of emerging technologies.
The search for skilled tech talent and entrepreneurial leaders becomes critical as Europe aims to advance in global tech markets. An answer to this challenge comes from the ATTRACT project, which seeks to combine deep-tech innovation with hands-on entrepreneurship training through its educational arm, the ATTRACT Academy.
The ATTRACT Pre-Final Conference concluded successfully, highlighting the remarkable progress of the 36 projects funded under ATTRACT phase 2. Held in Grenoble, France, the event brought together researchers, students, and professors providing a platform for sharing their potential and envisioning future developments.
ATTRACT is an initiative enabling the transition of the technology generated mainly for fundamental research purposes toward industrial and societal applications. It aims to streamline this process by creating an innovation ecosystem that reduces risk through funding and expertise. Furthermore, it also seeks to connect researchers with young innovators and potential investors to maximise the benefits of the new technologies to society.
During 3 days in November, CBI A3 took place at IdeaSquare. Students from Inno-Space Mannheim used the open space and its many AV solutions, the machine shop as well as some containers to carry out their challenge based innovation (CBI) design thinking project (DTP).
