Make-a-thon!
Learning through challenges has always been at the heart of ldeaSquare's educational programmes. A great challenge that we give the students is when we ask them to build a machine that could sort balls by colour!
The "make-a-than" is a one-afternoon exercise we included in our new educational programme: ldeaSquare Planet. This programme is designed to be adaptable to all curricula and to teach transversal skills, whether technical skills to students from non-technical backgrounds, as well as notions allowing those who are not familiar with them to position their projects in the social context in all its complexity.
These immersive exercises allow students to understand the issues and point of view of each expertise, and allow them to develop skills to collaborate effectively with a view to sustainable solutions.
