CERN HPD Summer School

As advances in technology enable fundamental physics research, new technologies are developed for research at institutes like CERN. These technologies are potentially valuable in other applications that serve society’s needs. Earlier success stories of such technological advances, such as the capacitive touchscreen, medical imaging techniques and the world wide web, demonstrate the potential and create a demand for the investigation of these ever developing technologies in other contexts. To address this demand, during this course, 20 students from the Honours Programme Delft will work
